The chamber music series of the DoelenEnsemble will start its second season with again three countries in the spotlight. In the first programme the listener is taken on travels through France. Well-known composers such as Debussy and Poulenc represent currents in music that have formed the roots for the work of Dusapin. These harmonically and melodically colourful pieces are altogether complex, relaxing, fascinating and full of passion. The works of these composers make for a varied evening of 20th century chamber music for flute and piano.
